Developing skills

From 1th to 7th grade, Math Magical Circles will help you develop math, social, motor and language and communication skills.
What does your teaching tool include?

Each box contains:

3 classic games to create playful environments, full of emotion

Bingo (Mexican Lottery)

9 bingo cardboards. Each card is a complete table of operations with 8 images (from 2 to 9 plus the special “pairs”).

Memory Game

Two (2) decks of 36 cards (MMC) each (Used to play memory game and bingo)

Big Head Game (flashcards)

Includes 4 card holders and elastic threads to tie up on the forehead and 1 plastica hourglass.

Coins

Two templates of cardboard coins (100 in total), with values ​​from 1, 5, 10, 20 and 50 + trophy. The front is solid in color to be used as “chips” in the lottery game.

8 faces dices

Two cut-out templates to form octahedron dice, with the numbers from 2 to 9.

Instructions

Sixteen (16) pages with 4 sections: explanation of how to interpret a MMC; how to play the 3 main games; 9 child’s stories; 15 additional activities.

Sand hourglass

Toy, made of plastic an regular sand. It lasts about 1 minute.

Forehead card holder

Printed on 16 point thick gloss cardboard paper to highlight colors.

Elastic threads

Elastic covered with fabric thread, 10 in long and 0.02 in thick. In some models it can include hooks at the ends, made of plastic or metal

16 pages, printed on bond paper. Half letter size, full color.

Supporting class plan

The book is an optional but recommended item. It was developed to support class planning and complement the Math Clubs.

Method’s explanation

This chapter explains how MMCs were created, how to read them, how many are they and the games.

Sessions

This chapter contains 57 learning sessions for the students. The proposed learning objectives are: recognition of CMM, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of each digit (from 2 to 9).

18 additional activities to study and strengthen some other skills in the field of language and communication, socio-emotional and cognitive

Children’s Stories

9 children’s stories, each one related with every lottery cardboard, used to complement the mnemonics strategy.
